ABOUT THE POSITION:As an IT Coordinator, you will be supporting AGBO’s IT infrastructure. In this role, you will assist with basic IT tasks and provide support to staff with technical issues. This position is ideal for someone starting their IT career, offering hands-on experience and opportunities to learn and grow. This position is working for a prestigious and prolific production company run by directorial talent. This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to work in the heart of a fast-paced, well-connected, highly creative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Act as the first line of response for IT support tickets.Assist the IT team with day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining IT records and updating logs.Help organize and schedule internal and external IT meetings, including vendor calls and team discussions.Assist with purchasing IT equipment and software, following company procurement policies.Manage and track expenses for IT purchases, ensuring that budgets are adhered to.Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of hardware and software products.Schedule and prepare IT equipment for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary hardware and software on their first day.Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, and other technology assets.Track equipment assigned to employees and ensure proper return during offboarding.Manage software licenses, ensuring that the organization complies with usage agreements.Contribute to IT documentation, including how-to guides, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:1-3 years of professional experience.No prior IT experience required; internship or part-time IT experience is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent required. An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is a plus, but not required.Basic understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows, Mac, etc.).Ability to follow instructions and solve basic technical problems.Good communication skills and a friendly attitude when assisting staff.Ability to manage tasks effectively and follow through on assignments.A willingness to learn from others and collaborate with team members.Experience with databases is a plus.
The typical base salary for this position ranges from $26.00 - $31.00 per hour.
