This role will have a global scope, with a primary focus on procurement contracts, as well as opportunities for corporate legal work in other areas including real estate and employment/HR.How you will make an impact?Provide timely and practical primary legal support to the global procurement team, as well as occasional support for HR, operations, and other corporate functions needed.Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams at all levels to work through contract negotiations with vendors, suppliers, landlords, and other parties.Develop and update contract templates.Collaborate with the legal and procurement teams on scalability initiatives (e.g., negotiations playbooks, template standardization, process improvements, contract management tools, etc.).Collaborate with real estate/facilities team and brokers on leasing matters globally, including managing local counsel where necessary.Conduct research on relevant laws and regulations across global jurisdictions.Adopt an engaging and proactive style of legal practice in order to best serve internal clients.Assist in due diligence and integration efforts associated with acquisitions.Have an interest in working in a multi-jurisdictional team environment.Highly adaptable and agile; comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity.Efficiently manage a large volume and variety of projects and independently prioritize and manage work effectively.Superior interpersonal, communication (both written and oral), and organization skills with the ability to think strategically and give practical and business-oriented advice.The role may include responsibilities in other areas within the legal department.Required QualificationsJuris Doctor degree.Admission to the Bar of at least one state (preferably MN).Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US.At least 3+ years of relevant, post-law school experience in interpreting, drafting, and negotiating contracts.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in varied types of corporate procurement contracts, including procurement of component technology and software.Prior experience in commercial real estate leasing and/or employment law.Experience in an in-house legal environment a plus, though not necessary.For US roles, or where applicable:Entrust is an EEO/AA/Disabled/Veterans Employer.For Canadian roles, or where applicable:Entrust values diversity and inclusion and we are committed to building a diverse workforce with wide perspectives and innovative ideas.
