Job Overview:
Graham Tech is seeking a skilled and experienced
Data Scientist
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a set of techniques and analytics applications that transform raw data into meaningful insights, supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role will require proficiency in data-oriented programming languages, visualization software, and a deep understanding of data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data-driven techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into actionable insights.
Apply advanced data mining, data modeling, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning (ML) techniques to extract and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets.
Visualize data findings using cutting-edge visualization tools, ensuring that data is presented clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
Interpret and report data analysis results, providing insights to inform decision-making processes.
Create and maintain dynamic data reports that offer real-time insights for business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategies that leverage data analysis to solve complex business challenges.
Work independently to perform all functional duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Requirements:
Experience:
3-10 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
Education:
BA/BS or MA/MS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
Strong expertise in data mining, data modeling, NLP, and ML techniques.
Experience working with large datasets, both structured and unstructured.
Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI (Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information) clearance required.
Additional Qualifications:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment.
