Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Professional analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions.The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Professional collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information and economic indicators so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions on, for example, acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or the sale of assets.Analyzes the financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions so that senior managers can evaluate alternatives against the organization's business objectives.Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position.Analyzes revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates.May involve financial modeling, reporting and budgeting as well. Begins to influence department’s strategy.Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.Use your skills to make an impactRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or a related field5 or more years' experience in finance/accountingComprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, and Access, SQL, and multi-dimensional databasesAbility to manage multiple priorities.Strong analytic skills with attention to detailsExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in business administration or a related fieldPrevious health insurance industry experienceExperience with SAS or other relational databases.Additional InformationYou must be authorized to work in the US without Humana sponsorship as Humana does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role.Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$84,600 - $116,300 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
