That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the DoD needs.As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your skills in network methodologies, design, administration and enhancement, knowledge of computer systems, network configurations and connections, and troubleshooting to support the nation's defense and resp ond
to evolving adversaries. You'll analyze, upgrade, and develop enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, analyze
current
working infrastructures, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.You'll apply your knowledge of routing and switching, network design and architecture, IP engineering, network transport layers, updating network equipment, and performance monitoring as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and te chn ologies. Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging te chn ology, and configurations will come in handy as you help optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in Cisco hardware and network performance management, and your te chn ical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll serve as a t rus ted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects and make an impact on national security missions.Grow your career with us as we help support the DoD fulfill their mission.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:3+ years of experience with IP networking design and troubleshooting
Experience with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls set up and configuration
Experience with network and firewall troubleshooting or problem-solving
Knowledge of routing protocols, including L3VPNs, BGP, and Multicast
Ability to plan, develop, and perform lab performance, functional and integration testing
Ability to travel to support work activities such as installs
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:Experience with testing and deployment of DoD systems or solutions
Experience with network design and security
Experience with STIGing or security hardening of systems
Experience with ACAS or security analysis tools
Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently
Possession of excellent time management and analytical skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree
CCNA or CCNP Certification
