( Sils or Barcelona (Terrassa) Spain )Your MissionThe main mission consists of following up and resolving SAP support cases related to MyPuratos (our e-commerce platform integrated with SAP) via the Puratos support portal.What you will doAs SAP Support Specialist you will be an expert in your domain from a functional and technical point of view. The key tasks are:Performance Optimization: Analyzing and optimizing the performance of existing ABAP programs and processes to improve system performance, response times, and resource utilization. This may involve identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, optimizing database access, and implementing coding best practices.Integration: Developing and configuring interfaces and integration solutions using ABAP technologies such as RFC (Remote Function Call), BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface), IDoc (Intermediate Document), and Web Services. Integrating SAP systems with external systems and third-party applications.Data Migration: Developing and executing data migration programs and scripts to transfer data between SAP and non-SAP systems or between different SAP systems. Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration process.Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to ABAP development, system integrations, and data conversions. Analyzing and debugging ABAP programs to identify and resolve errors and issues.Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Documenting technical designs, specifications, and development activities. Sharing knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders through presentations, training sessions, and documentation.Continuous Learning and Development: Staying updated on the latest SAP technologies, tools, and development methodologies. Participating in training programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge in ABAP development and related areas.What we expect from youEducation and Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.SAP certification in relevant modules (SD and/or ABAP) is highly desirable.Technical Skills:SAP SD:Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP SD modules.Experience with pricing, order management, and delivery processes.Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI/CO).ABAP:Good ABAP programming skills.Ability to develop custom reports, enhancements, and interfaces.Understanding of SAP data dictionary objects (tables, views, indexes).Functional Expertise:SD:Understanding of sales processes, including sales orders, contracts, and billing.Knowledge of pricing procedures, condition types, and output determination.ABAP:Experience in debugging and performance tuning ABAP programs.Fluent in English (spoken and written). Additional languages like French, Spanish, or Portuguese are an asset.Well-organized and good time management skills.Ability to work in an international environment and a team split across the world.Knowledge about SAP Cloud for Customers, SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, or Adobe AEM is also an asset.Willingness to travel: 10%.What you can expect from PuratosWe are a warm family company with a historical growth track record and a clear long-term vision for the future.
