The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Marketing Manager

to join the team!

Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate:

The annual salary range for this role is $72,000 - $80,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

A Marketing Manager is responsible for proposing and implementing marketing strategies to promote revenue growth and generation in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for proposing and implementing marketing strategies to promote revenue growth and generation in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsible for project management, managing multiple priorities at once in a fast-paced environment.

Develop high-quality, on-brand, accurate content to power The Del’s earned, owned and paid channels.

Quickly adapt to and adopt new technologies, digital strategies and trends.

Contribute in a meaningful way to marketing strategy, discussions and planning.

Support The Del’s reputation management by overseeing and approving social and review responses.

Facilitate social media strategy, content-creation, agency interaction and post approvals.

Oversee work of outside agencies and partners.
