Verizon is looking for a Senior Manager of PMO in the Marketing Activation organization to support our consumer portfolios. The PMO Senior Manager (PM) is responsible for driving the holistic marketing campaign development for multiple projects across this line of business.
What you’ll be doing:
Prioritizing projects, tracking and communicating scope, load balancing planning for resources, and communicating status and risk to high-level internal stakeholders.
Participating in creative development meetings to ensure the final output is on the mark.
Providing project management follow-through and accurate and on-time delivery.
Prioritizing and managing the workflow of multiple projects through a line of business.
Crafting thoughtful and custom projects plans and timelines.
Managing and tracking scope and hours for efficient reporting across a line of business.
Communicating priorities, risks, and solutions to senior-level internal stakeholders.
Partnering with the marketing & strategy leads and Creative Directors to lead and direct teams on brief development, paths forward, problem-solving, and prioritizations.
Evaluating creative briefs on complex projects and interprets them for project teams in order to lead communication strategies and implement marketing efforts.
Providing feedback to the project team during internal creative reviews.
Reviewing change requests and responding with schedule/cost impacts along with alternatives.
Managing expectations with departmental teams; negotiating timelines and budgets to ensure that all deadlines are maintained.
What we’re looking for:You’ll need to have:
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated by one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, both through idea generation and assessment of ideas generated by others.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Agency or in-house agency experience.
A successful track record in client service in a market.
Project management/intake experience with a deep understanding of creative print, direct marketing campaigns, digital, promotions, ATL, and radio.
Outstanding project management and communication skills in achieving the highest possible standards when leading a project across numerous teams and groups.
A basic knowledge of our business challenges to provide communications solutions and project management execution.
Strong knowledge of the benefits of communication channels, with the ability to match the channel with the communication needs of the business.
Team player with excellent relationship building skills.
The willingness to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Are resourceful and solution-oriented.
Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills.
Excellent creative project management skills, highly organized, and ability to multitask effectively.
The ability to gain trust and effectively manage expectations.
Strong knowledge of the creative process, as well as design and print/digital production.
Knowledge and experience with Workfront.
