The Senior Manager, National Accounts will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of all distribution channels within national accounts and animal health. This role will be responsible for sales activities related to national account customers including wholesale and retail markets to achieve optimal sales consistent with budgeted profit and targets. This position also requires cross-functional collaboration to enhance sales performance, strengthen our product pipeline, and gain a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of our animal health distributors. This position is will be remote (preferably East Coast-based).
Responsibilities:
Deliver sales results to meet the budget goals of the company.
Manage and build customer relationships at assigned national accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of revenue targets.
Develop and implement innovative sales initiatives that support overall business strategy, drive market penetration, and enhance market positioning.
Shape the direction of pricing and contracting strategies, leveraging market insights and competitive analysis to optimize revenue and profitability in the commercial animal health markets.
Identify and pursue strategic partnerships to bolster Hikma's animal health business, driving expansion into new markets and therapeutic areas.
Communicate and collaborate with customers on competitive information, potential product launches, product availability, and supply needs.
Identify new business opportunities for assigned national accounts.
Manage contract negotiations to ensure growth and improve customer relations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in business, science or equivalent with 10 plus years of experience in pharmaceuticals and sales management.
Experience in animal health or veterinary space required.
Thorough knowledge of GPO, wholesale, and retail pharmaceutical markets.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of business analytics, strong presentation and relationship building skills.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to provide analysis and market intelligence.
Strong financial analysis skills desired.
