Our client is a leading global business law firm looking for a collaborative, results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has exceptional problem-solving skills. Naviga has been retained to identify an IP Patent Paralegal to join their team.

Responsibilities: Completes standard U.S. trademark and patent application filings. Completes individual or limited group foreign filing programs, including legalization of documents. Assists with supervised prosecution work on all U.S. and foreign applications. Handles assignments and post registration filings for U.S. registrations. Handles U.S. filings for foreign based clients. Keeps clients apprised of the status of marks and patents. Manages data rooms and matter files. Requirements: 1 year experience as a Litigation Paralegal for individuals with a bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate. Individuals without a degree or certification require five years' legal support experience in the specific practice area. Must have strong skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with legal software such as Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw or similar application required. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties. Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner. Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product. Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required. Foster positive work relationships. Comply with all firm policies and practices. Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed. Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned. Education: High school Diploma or GED required. Degree and/or a Paralegal certificate preferred.
