They pride themselves on their excellent reputation and their client-focused service.DUTIESYour duties as a Commercial Property Solicitor / Lawyer include:Transaction Management:Overseeing the entire lifecycle of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and refinancing.Conducting due diligence investigations, reviewing title deeds, and identifying potential risks.Drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, such as sale and purchase agreements, leases, and finance documents.Negotiating terms with counterparties and advising clients on strategic options.Coordinating with other professionals, such as surveyors, valuers, and tax advisors.Client Advisory:Providing strategic legal advice to clients on a range of commercial property matters.Advising on property development projects, including planning, construction, and funding.Assisting with property finance transactions, including debt and equity financing.Handling landlord and tenant disputes, including lease renewals, rent reviews, and breaches of covenant.Risk Management:Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with commercial property transactions.Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.Developing effective risk management strategies and procedures.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSYou will need to be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with previous experience in commercial property.Strong technical knowledge of commercial property law.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.Ability to manage a demanding workload and meet tight deadlines.Strong client relationship management skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Live within a commutable distance to either Newport or Monmouth.HOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
