Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented and experienced VP, Marketing and Brand to join our team and lead our brand management, external agency partnerships, marketing campaigns, and customer journey and experience initiatives. This role will also involve expanding branding and marketing strategies across all lines of business.
The VP, Marketing and Brand will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence, manage relationships with external agencies, oversee the execution of impactful marketing campaigns, and optimize the customer journey and experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of brand management, and the ability to drive marketing initiatives that align with our business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Management:
Develop and execute a cohesive brand strategy that drives market growth.
Oversee the full scope of corporate image and communications, ensuring consistent and strategic messaging across all platforms.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and growth.
Monitor brand performance metrics and implement strategies to improve brand perception and loyalty.
Oversee and manage our comprehensive survey program, ensuring continuous assessment of customer and competitor insights, utilizing these insights to enhance our brand and customer experience.
Managing External Agencies:
Identify, evaluate, and select external agencies for various marketing needs, including advertising, digital marketing, and creative services.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with external agencies to ensure alignment with company objectives and brand guidelines.
Oversee agency performance, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to budgets and timelines.
Negotiate contracts and manage agency budgets to optimize ROI.
Campaign Management:
Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Collaborate with operations team to ensure campaigns are aligned with product launches, promotions, and overall marketing strategy.
Collaborate with analytic resources and leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance and maximize effectiveness.
Track and report on campaign metrics, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Customer Journey and Experience:
Design and implement strategies to optimize the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience at all touchpoints.
Analyze customer feedback and data to identify pain points and opportunities for enhancing the customer experience.
Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure a unified approach to customer experience management.
Utilize customer journey mapping and other tools to visualize and improve customer interactions with the brand.
Social Media Leadership:
Lead and mentor the social media team to develop and execute social media strategies that align with overall marketing goals.
Oversee content creation, community management, and social media campaigns to ensure consistency with brand voice and objectives.
Analyze social media metrics and provide insights to enhance engagement and performance.
Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to keep the brand relevant and innovative in the digital space.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand management, campaign execution, and customer experience with established recognizable brands.
Proven track record of successfully managing external agencies and driving high-impact marketing campaigns.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Big-picture, business-centric mindset with the ability to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and drive growth.
Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
