Job Description

The Payroll Coordinator I position supports the Payroll Operation’s department by performing tasks related to employee/payroll payments. Duties will include processing field requests related to payroll payments. This position ensures all payments are accurately processed and Kronos timecards are reflecting accurately. Additional responsibilities include union reporting and mandated CBA rate changes.Job Responsibilities

Maintains all electronic archive files relating to payroll for the accountAccountable for all responsibilities for instant checks, local payrolls, final payouts, etc.Responds to questions/concerns made by Aramark employeesValidate and process payment requests for employees via ServiceNowResponsible for assisting with all direct deposit entriesSupport the process of all payment requests returned from direct deposit filesDaily/Weekly Reconciliation of payroll, clearing exceptions, and ensuring accuracy of all timecards prior to closing payroll in KronosNotifies department managers of employees missed punches and/or errorsAssists unit management with clerical tasks in relation to accounting, payroll, receiving, and/or human resources including filing, data entry, etc.Greets customers, clients, and employees; answers inquiries or directs calls where necessaryMaintain office memos and informative postingsOperate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS OfficeComplete applicable monthly union reportsAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. Ability to work independently in resolving issues proactivelyFlexibility, multi-tasking, creative thinking, good business judgment, strong organizational & interpersonal skills are all needed to meet deadlinesMust be a strong teammate, highly motivated, and able to work under pressure during peak periodsAbility to communicate well with internal and external partners, including other locations, customers and corporate payrollFlexibility to extend hours as required to meet operational needsThe ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting (30-60lbs), bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE)Education
