6 Month Rolling ContractPosition Overview:The SRE will lead day-of-deployment monitoring and participate in Go/No-Go calls. Development efforts will initially focus on PBIs that improve observability, dashboarding, performance or other site reliability concerns. However, after clearing technical debt, the developers will be allowed to take on features or other work that keeps them up to date on relevant technologies/methodologies/products that the Scrum team is working on.This person will need to have experience with at least one other thing than development – networking, any cloud, automation (ansible, puppet, chef, jenkins, etc.), performance engineering, APM (Dynatrace, new relic, sumo logic), if they have good skills in a toolset that goes along with an SRE.Not just a project-based role; it's strictly for a continual basis.MUST Haves:AWS2-3 years .NET development experience - 5+ years of dev total (okay with someone who started their career in .NET but needs at least 2 years exp in Java)Someone who worked as a developer and now works as a Cloud or DevOps EngineerHas a focus in any of the following: networking, any cloud (AWS is what they use now), automation (ansible, puppet, chef, jenkins, etc.), performance engineering, APM (Dynatrace, new relic, sumo logic), if they have good skills in a toolset that goes along with an SRE.NICE TO HAVES:DynatraceSplunk*Please note that as a contract employee of Apex Systems, benefits include the below with employee contribution*HealthVisionLife Insurance; Short Term DisabilityDirect DepositWeekly Pay PeriodsTraining and Development Programs401kReferral ProgramEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
