Job Summary:
In this role you will collaborate with other senior technical team members and other developers to conceptualize, design, and deliver innovative technology solutions. You will interact with various technology, product, and business teams across MUFG.
Perform complex application design and programming activities in the latest technologies: .Net, C#, MVC, Angular, MS SQL, MQ, AWS/Cloud services & infrastructure.
Perform integrations between on-premises and vendor hosted applications.
Deliver projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines.
Work Experience:
Programming experience in a modern language such as C#, Java, Python
Experience with web technologies: Restful Services, JavaScript, Asp.Net, MVC, Angular JS, Web API
Experience in financial services/banking preferred.
Experience developing at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI, middle/services and back end/database)
Experience with Java and Java frameworks is preferred.
Experience implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs
Experience in designing data models and structures to store various kinds of data in different formats.
Experience with scripting language (Python or Perl), OpenShift, AWS or Azure
Strong Experience with RDBMS based databases such as Oracle and SQL Server
Experience with virtualization and containerization preferred.
Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting in real time.
Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Job Responsibilities:
Perform application design and programming activities in the latest technologies from Microsoft Platform Tools, Java and Python
Work with business users and develop the on-demand reports using Data Warehouse Tools
Provide clear technical guidance with the focus in user experience, security, app performance integrations
Ensure projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines.
Sustain and enhance the application's functionality, performance, and security standards.
Coordinating, integrating and supporting third-party software solutions
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
The typical base pay range for this role is between $119K - $148K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
