You’ll have the exciting opportunity to design, support, and enhance our infrastructure, enabling our client’s team of vulnerability analysts and pen testers to identify and resolve security gaps on the most critical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion that is impactful by performing the following responsibilities including but not limited to:Assess, design, implement, and maintain robust security system architectures and networks supporting cybersecurity risk assessment, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments within an unclassified government network infrastructure environment.Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for remediating identified vulnerabilities and prioritize based on criticality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into client environments.Stay current with emerging threats and cybersecurity best practices to produce realistic threat scenarios against critical systems.Support the Guidehouse assessment team in planning and conducting assessments, and authoring risk assessment reports summarizing identified risks.What You Will Need:An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.THREE (3) or more years’ experience related to Cybersecurity or IT Security or Engineering or Information Technology and/or Systems Architecture.Bachelors Degree.What Would Be Nice To Have:Active Top Secret clearance.Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP).Knowledge of CISA High Value Asset (HVA) program and assessments.CISA Assessment and Evaluation Standardization (AES) HVA Certification.Experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on system architecture and network security.Proven track record of building and maintaining secure IT infrastructures.Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and industry standards.Experience planning and conducting cybersecurity risk assessments.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Availability to work within client office environment minimum two days per week.Job Family:
