Java Developer with Cassandra

Responsibilities:Monitor Cassandra clusters, performance, and capacity planning.Manage nodes of Datastax (Cassandra/SOLR) cluster.Cassandra cluster connectivity and security.Datastax Software installation and configuration.Datastax Software patches and upgrades.Using monitoring and management tools (e.g., DataStax OpsCenter).Database backup and recovery.Qualifications:Certification as Datastax Administrator or Developer.Experience in relational database.Strong understanding of SQL in accessing and manipulating data.Strong understanding of system architecture.Experience with a variety of file formats (XML, JSON, unstructured data, etc.).Experience in database performance tuning required.Experience in database upgrades required.Experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and production support.Understanding of Unix and Linux operating systems.Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.Unix shell scripting.Additional Information
