Brief Description:
We are looking for a DevOps expert in configuration management, automated deployments, and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) frameworks & build environments who can help evolve and lead our continuous delivery frameworks & build environments.
Description:
Evolve and lead our continuous delivery (CI/CD) frameworks & build environments for Dev, QA, Staging, and Production.
Design best practices for build and release process and tooling.
Take charge of automating steps in our build and release systems.
Oversee daily responsibility of build execution for various systems/releases.
In charge of Jenkins toolset driven build configuration and maintenance.
Monitor and maintain uptime SLAs for production environment.
Assist customers for performance tuning and high availability setup for server environment.
Migration from one tool to another (e.g., AHP to Jenkins).
Administer DVCS systems like Git/GitHub, BitBucket, SVN, etc.
Build and deploy frameworks such as Jenkins, Cloudbees, etc.
Continue to improvise/enhance internal and customer framework with the latest technology trends in the market.
Qualification:
5-8 years work experience in sys-admin and release management.
Solid understanding of CI best practices and tooling, specifically Jenkins.
Strong experience with Jenkins, Git, and DVCS systems and their use in release management, branching, merging, and integration strategies.
Experience in Cloud & Virtualization products.
Advanced experience in automation tools and best practices.
Extensive experience in building JAVA Web/Mobile Systems.
Well versed in using Solaris and Linux operating systems.
Detailed knowledge of Configuration Management discipline.
Self-starter with the ability to lead processes and projects.
Thorough knowledge of scripting with Shell, Perl, and Python.
Strong organizational and communication skills and detail-oriented.
BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
