The Lead Server is responsible for providing residents, guests, and staff with a highly personalized dining experience in an efficient, professional, accurate and courteous manner. The Lead Server with work the Front of the House Management to ensure proper training of new dining employees is achieved.This position will primarily serve in our Dome Lounge, however, assigned work area may include Marketplace, Main Dining Room, or Jefferson Lounge as well.Responsibilities

Greet residents, guests, and staff in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner at all times and be aware of and practice good customer relations, assisting in any way for high customer satisfaction.Properly set-up dining areas, clean designated areas, in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning/evening routines and hygiene requirements; change table linen as required and properly place dirty linens for laundry, usable items; clean and refill cruet and condiment sets, to ensure consistent supply.Provide a consultative approach to the dining experience by recommending complimentary foods and beverages and be knowledgeable of menu options and provide specific information on ingredients and cooking methods.Provide guidance to Servers on procedures in the absence of an immediate supervisor; in sections, help with POS issues, and help ensure proper set up of dining rooms for service.Work with FOH Management with new server training; scheduling, assignments, testing, and observing.Be attentive to residents and guests to ensure glasses are filled and plates cleared in a timely, but not rushed, manner.Ensure workstations are adequately stocked with replacement cutlery, linen, or other established needs, be they food or equipment.Take orders from customers and communicate effectively to the kitchen staff and/or process to execute a pleasant and accurate dining experience, and serve food and beverages in a professional, courteous manner.Ensure tables are cleaned as soon as it is apparent that customers have finished their food or drink with an acceptable balance between speed yet allowing customers to finish their meal without feeling rushed.Ensure that customers are correctly charged through the POS computerized system; present the bill in accordance with the procedures of WCBR.Possess strong working knowledge of catered events, including set-ups, event service and clean-up.Adhere to food handling and sanitation procedures.Work closely with supervisors and FOH Management for inventory. Weekly ordering, keep in communication for current needs of supplies.Qualifications

Must meet minimum age requirement to serve/sell alcohol.Have strong working knowledge of alcoholic beverages with proper service.Requirements
