Knight Therapeutics commercializes IBSRELA in Canada.DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior Recruiter to join our team in Fremont, CA. This role will report to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition and will be responsible for 75% recruiting activities and 25% staffing-related administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the recruitment field.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting Duties (75%):Identify and attract top talent through various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, and networking for current and future openings.Utilize Ardelyx digital media footprint to create & post job announcements that list requirements for each job, such as desired work experience, education, and job skills.Conduct initial candidate screenings with potential applicants by phone, email, or in person and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.Screen resumes and interview candidates for various department & positions within an organization ie...Marketing, Quality, Clinical Operations, IT, Finance, Corporate Development, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, and several other groups.Contribute to the overall success of Talent Acquisition by providing a high level of customer service and project coordination when supporting recruiting activities for hiring managers & candidates.Assist candidates, hiring managers, and HR with use of Jobvite (Applicant Tracking System - ATS) as necessaryApply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidatesInvestigate referrals, references, and social media sources to formulate a well-rounded view of applicantsEstablish and maintain professional relationships with colleges and local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking events in support of the Ardelyx Internship program as an employer of choice.Prepare & deliver to candidates competitive compensation packages with selected applicants to offer employmentAdministrative Duties (25%):Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation and coordinating orientation sessions with Human Resources.Manage the candidate experience through start date; schedule interviews (including partnering with external agencies), track candidate feedback, maintaining open requisition status via spreadsheet within JobVite, and additional recruitment platformsProvide administrative support to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition and other HR team members as needed.Help organize and participate in internal HR events and initiatives.Significant recruiting experience for a high-volume biotech OR pharmaceutical organization requiredProblem Solving - the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and social media applicationsMulti-tasker - strong time-management skills and able to allocate time to handle multiple prioritiesAvailability to travel within the United States to attend job fairs and networking eventsAbility to work under pressure and prioritize in a demanding, fast-paced environment with strict deadlinesQualificationsThe successful candidate will have the following leadership and personal competencies:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships5+yrs years of experience in recruitment or a related HR role.Demonstrates clear, effective and professional oral and written communication skillsPersonable, flexible, patient, positive attitudeStrong attention to detail, and consistently follows-up and follows-throughStrong professional communication skills to interact with candidates, as well as employees and managers at various levels across the companyAbility to work independently, while collaborating and communicating in a team environmentAbility to use:MS Excel for managing/presenting data, generating reportsMS Outlook for advanced meeting scheduling, heavy emailingMS Teams/Zoom for video interviews/meetings and presentationsKnowledge of HR related systems (ATS, pre-assessment, etc.) and TA/social media platforms (LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, ZipRecruiter, Circa Workforce Solutions) preferredLocationHybrid, but with preference for areas within a commutable range of Fremont, CA where we have an office or concentrations of Human Resource team members.The anticipated annualized base pay range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $130,000.

Actual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity.
The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target and equity awards, subject to eligibility and other requirements.
Ardelyx also offers a robust benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with generous employer match, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, up to 12 weeks living organ and bone marrow leave, equity incentive plans, health plans (medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, flexible time off, annual Winter Holiday shut down, and at least 11 paid holidays.
