Sr. Systems Analyst - Merchandising Systems

The Sr. Systems Analyst - Merchandising Systems is responsible for providing support and monitoring of existing systems at Claire’s, contributing to and leading small parts of the implementation of new systems, guiding the maturation / evolution of those systems over time as the business changes, and mentoring junior-level associates. They have a good understanding of both technical aspects and functional usage of systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Main responsibilities include:
Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting assistance for systems, data, and integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and implement solutions
Monitor data integrations between systems to ensure seamless, consistent data flow
Conduct regular audits and validations to ensure data accuracy and integrity; address data quality issues
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and insights; utilize visualizations to communicate
Recommend and implement technology solutions that align with business goals and objectives
Identify, design, and implement enhancements, improvements, and automation to increase efficiency
Design tests, review and debug systems, integrations, and processes to ensure they meet quality standards
Configure systems and integrations as needed to achieve desired results
Create and review documentation and technical specifications as needed to aid IT and Business teams
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends; focus on continuous improvement
Mentor junior-level associates

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team required
Strong MS Office and SQL expertise required
Strong knowledge of and experience with multiple methods of data integration required
AS/400 knowledge required
Strong understanding of retail business processes required
Strong retail systems knowledge required
Knowledge of Blue Yonder Portfolio Merchandise Management (PMM) application preferred
