RF Communications EngineerKBR is seeking a highly qualified RF Communications Engineer to provide support for the NRO Mission Operations Directorate (MOD). MOD operates, maintains, and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems, provides defensive space control and space protection, monitors satellite flight safety, and provides space situational awareness. This effort includes support to innovation labs developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems.As an RF Communications Engineer, you have the expertise and experience in developing prototype solutions and algorithms to exploit RF communications signals from potential adversaries. This requires knowledge of RF test equipment and procedures.Required Qualifications:3-5 years of expertise and experience in developing prototype solutions and algorithms to exploit RF communications signals from potential adversariesKnowledge of RF test equipment and proceduresAbility to operate RF test equipment and develop and execute test proceduresActive TS/SCI with CI polygraphBachelor’s degree in STEM or related quantitative science fieldPreferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in engineering or related quantitative science fieldExperience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programsExperience with cloud development processesExperience with industry system engineering practicesStrong interpersonal skills in order to influence, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadershipKnowledge of NRO Mission Operations DirectorateSecurity Clearance Requirement:
Active TS/SCI with CI PolyBasic Compensation:
$114,600.00 - $171,900.00The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
