Backed by BlackRock's Diversified Infrastructure business, Jupiter Power has a strategic and established portfolio of 787.5/1375 of utility-scale energy storage projects operating or in construction in the U.S., with a leading pipeline of over 11,000 MW in active development.The RoleJupiter Power is looking to grow its financial operations team with the addition of an Associate, FP&A. The Associate, FP&A will be responsible for providing financial insights and projections to the finance and accounting teams. This individual will be tasked with providing reliable data and analysis to be used in decision-making and planning. They will prepare accurate monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of executive-level presentations. The Associate, FP&A will report to Vice President of Financial Operations.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain models to support budgeting and forecasting, variance analyses, long-term planning, risk/opportunity assessments, and periodic/ad hoc reportingCoordinate with various departments to gather inputs and assist in preparing results for annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term strategic planning scenariosConduct variance analyses against budgets/forecasts, and analyze financial performance and give insights to financials trends and KPI'sPartner with the accounting team during the close process, which includes reviewing departmental general ledgers for accuracy and providing P&L and cash variance explanations to budget and forecastsServe as finance liaison to departments and partner with them in understanding their business, supporting their initiatives, and general financial inquiriesEvaluate financial impact of business initiatives, projects, and potential investmentsIdentify opportunities for improvements in planning and reporting by implementing best practices and automation in models and processesPrepare financial reports, presentations, and other management reporting needs for senior managementConduct necessary account and system reconciliationsAd hoc business reporting and analysis as neededJupiter seeks individuals eager to develop their core professional knowledge, learn new areas of the business and take on additional responsibilities within Jupiter's dynamic team. Secondary responsibilities will be tailored to individual candidate backgrounds as well as company priorities.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline requiredCFA or CPA preferred3+ years of related experienceExperience developing financial reports and metricsExperience with Sage or similar accounting software
Physical Requirements and EnvironmentThis role is office-based with limited travel required. Candidates must be willing and able to work in a Jupiter Power office a minimum of three days per week. Candidates will be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and must be able to lift up to ten pounds repetitively.Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background investigation and may be subject to drug tests as a condition of employment.
