A brief overview:

As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in bringing to life our recruitment strategy and defining and enhancing our employer brand. This position requires a seasoned talent professional who will partner closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, train and develop their hiring capability, while also promoting our company culture to attract top-tier candidates both internally and externally. Your tech-savvy ability with recruitment technology and methods, while maintaining a human connection, will be essential in ensuring a best-in-class, streamlined hiring and candidate experience at ASICS.

What you'll do:

Employer Branding Strategy:

Develop, enhance and champion our employer brand strategy including developing creative assets and resources (photography, video, graphics, etc.)

Job Description Management:

Oversee our job description management platform to ensure its full usage, along with working with managers to ensure updated and compelling job descriptions are available for every position.

Candidate Experience:

Manage the full-cycle candidate journey (including all administrative tasks), ensuring an inclusive and welcoming experience from application through onboarding, while partnering with necessary departments to ensure a seamless first day for new hires.

Candidate Sourcing & Pipelines:

Utilize creative sourcing techniques and tools (e.g., LinkedIn, ATS, job boards) to identify a diverse candidate pool of talent and maintain candidate pipelines.

Recruiting Events:

Organize and participate in diverse recruiting events, meet-ups and speaking sessions to develop our employer brand presence, while building relationships with local colleges and universities.

Business Partnership:

Act as an advisor with hiring managers through the recruitment cycle, educating them on hiring best practices and techniques, DE&I considerations, and legally compliant selection criteria.

Recruitment Process Improvement:

Continuously improve recruitment processes and approaches holistically across Hiring Managers, the HR department, our ATS, and other touchpoints.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance of all legal aspects of recruiting and candidate selection including ensuring candidates and applicants are properly tracked, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Support and implement corporate Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.

How you'll be successful:

Has a deep knowledge of modern and effective recruitment techniques and methods.

Familiarity with industry talent trends and labor market dynamics.

Knowledge of employer branding best practices, platforms and techniques for promoting employer branding.

Ability to create innovative recruitment and employer branding assets and resources (video, photo, graphics), as well as work with third party vendors as needed.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with candidates and stakeholders across the organization.

Demonstrates creative skills in developing innovative and engaging branding and recruitment campaigns.

Proficiency with leveraging applicant tracking systems (ATS) to their full capability.

Capacity to identify challenges in the recruitment process and develop creative solutions.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including HR, marketing, and leadership.

Has an understanding and appreciation of diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives, enhancing the recruitment process.

Understanding of employment laws and regulations affecting recruitment and hiring practices.

Demonstrates self-awareness, a constant growth mindset, and a collaborative approach.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

What you'll need:

5-7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and full cycle recruiting experience required (internal wholesale and retail recruiting a plus).

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or an equivalent combination of training, experience and education.

Computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience using creative development software (Canva, video editing software, etc.).

Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (SuccessFactors ATS considered a plus).
