Our client, an elite family law firm, is seeking a
Matrimonial/Family Law Associate Attorney
to join their winning team in White Plains.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide legal counsel and representation to Clients facing various types of Matrimonial and Family Law matters, most notably: Uncontested divorce, contested divorce, child custody petitions, surrogacy contracts and pre-birth orders, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, child support modification.Preparation and drafting of legal documents.Conduct legal research.Continued legal learning through participation in CLE, outside research, and Firm-sponsored educational workshops.Strict adherence to Attorney-Client confidentiality.Always maintain a professional and courteous attitude with clients, opposing counsels, Courts, and co-workers.KEY QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of experience exclusively in a divorce and family law setting.Admission to the New York State Bar (Admission to Connecticut State Bar a plus) with membership in good standing.Demonstrated expertise in New York family law statutes, regulations, and legal principles.Excellent legal writing skills.Ability to manage 30+ complex cases at the same time.Detail oriented.Compassionate and empathetic towards Clients.WE OFFER:401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePlease apply today to be immediately considered for the role!
