Job Duties & Requirements:
- Contributes to the nursing process and implements a resident plan of care.
- Performs direct nursing services such as administering treatments and to assist in assessments and evaluation; assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Delegates suitable components of care to nursing assistants, providing guidance and supervision when necessary.
- Assists in resident and family health teaching and rehabilitation.
- Recognizes and reports safety hazards.
- Consults and validates data with other nursing staff and members of healthcare team; records and reports pertinent information; provides explanation to families and other staff.
- Assumes responsibility for own personal growth and development.
- Interprets philosophy and objectives of the facility and the nursing service to residents, families, and other employees when necessary.
- Other duties upon request.
- Must have a valid license as an Nurse in the state of practice.
