Network Cyber Engineer , you will use industry-leading network and security tools to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experience to develop and implement security solutions that will help protect our country's critical infrastructure.On our team, you’ll collaborate to troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of networking and security devices. You'll expand your knowledge of technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions. Using your current experience and educational background, you’ll help assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.In this role, you’ll impact the mission directly by building out and protecting our nation's networking infrastructure. With mentoring, challenging hands-on problem-solving, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.What You’ll Work On:

Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.You Have:Experience in common operating systems, such as Linux, Windows, or Mac OS.Experience with virtualization technologies, such as ESXI or vmworkstation.Experience with basic cybersecurity best practices.Knowledge of basic networking.Ability to troubleshoot common technical problems.TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.HS diploma or GED.Nice If You Have:Experience in programming languages.Experience with automated testing methodologies and frameworks.Experience with common networking technologies, such as switches, routers, or firewalls.Clearance:

The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD).Work Model
