Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, as an HR Business Partner you will interact and collaborate with site leaders in New York, New Hampshire, and Washington acting as a true business partner helping each site strive for excellence. You’ll apply your knowledge and experience to support human resources programs and processes that build a sustainable and thriving business operation. This is a full-time role where you will work on-site four days per week and from home one day per week.HR Business Partner Duties/Responsibilities:Manages key HR Operational Process (HRIS management, benefit management, policy changes, retention initiatives, employee engagement programs…etc.)Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.Support HR team member growth through inclusion and stretch assignments.Identify and drive process improvement efforts, leveraging systems and tools to automate and eliminate manual work where possible.Provides support and guidance to HR team, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.Ensure the company's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Partner with leadership at each site to enforce a dynamic employee engagement strategy.Develop training programs aimed at supporting management, soft skills, performance management, coaching conversations and company policy and procedure.Work as a collaborative member of the HR team across all business locations.HR Business Partner Required Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, benefits, performance management, safety, and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.Heavy employee relations experience; must have previous experience conducting investigations and handling unique situations.Previous experience in private education a plus but not required.High ethical standards with demonstrated experience handling highly sensitive and confidential information.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.People-centric professional with excellent attention to detail.Client service mindset with the desire to go above and beyond to support the team and organization.Previous Paylocity experience is a plus but not required.HR Business Partner Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field and 10+ years of human resource experience; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.Benefits:Health insurancePaid time offLife insurance401(k) matchingFlexible spending account
