Gilmartin is looking for highly motivated individuals to fill Investor Relations Analyst positions. Successful candidates will work closely with senior Gilmartin executives to manage client engagements, build, and execute investor relations programs focusing on strategic advice and tactical execution, track sector trends and data, project manage initial public offerings (IPOs) and other capital markets related activities, and create internal best practice materials.Analysts will participate in a training program to gain knowledge of capital markets, financial analysis, investor relations fundamentals, and the healthcare sector. Concurrent with the training period, Analysts will take their FINRA Licensing Exams: SIE, Series 82, and Series 63.Gilmartin is committed to professional development and fostering a culture of collaboration and meritocracy.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare reports for clients detailing analyst models and institutional shareholder baseTrack and report on client and competitor/peer business developments and financial resultsCollect and analyze sell side estimates and maintain consensus modelSupport senior company executives in preparation for client quarterly earnings calls, including logistics, drafting earnings releases, and management Q&A preparationManage client IR calendars, including investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and other major eventsParticipate in client meetings and callsAssist with the preparation of presentation materialsReview and recommend content and updates for IR websiteDatabase maintenance and entryEXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree; Finance, Economics, Biology, pre-med preferredInternship within finance or investor relations preferredStrong analytical and writing skillsExcellent interpersonal and verbal skillsKeen interest in equity markets and/or healthcareConfident and professional phone and e-mail communicationKnowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPointSOFT SKILLS
