Senior Vice President, Business Continuity / Recovery (Hybrid)

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Business Continuity/ Recovery team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL. The role is a hybrid position, offering work flexibility.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Drive BNY businesses in the execution of annual requirements of the Business Continuity Lifecycle (business impact analyses, risk assessments, recovery strategies, and testing) specifically focused on Third Party strategy selection and testing requirements. Ensure that recovery solutions developed by BNY businesses are in accordance with internal policies and are viable, realistic, and sustainable. Work with internal groups to ensure the third party strategy review and testing process is successful end-to-end. Facilitate capture of third-party due diligence information so the BNY businesses can appropriately understand and mitigate risks and lead due diligence reviews around Business Continuity. Develop and execute training and consulting support to internal business partners. Support BNY businesses in ensuring that client and regulatory expectations related to Business Continuity are met. Provide response and recovery support in contingency situations. Design and contribute to program performance and risk metrics. Extract and organize large data sets; transform data into intelligence that provides transparency and enables management of resiliency risks. Collect and prioritize feedback from internal partners relating to Business Continuity and alert and notification tools.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience within the financial services industry. Proficiency in MS office products and general data management tools. Takes initiative and has a desire to develop subject matter expertise and business acumen. Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Confident, self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Utilize and apply a risk-oriented perspective to deliver controls and mitigating solutions. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with attention to detail.
