Analyzing and summarizing legal documentsResearching, both legal and of people, businesses, and worksitesEvaluating cases and strategically developing defensesConducting client meetings and recommending strategiesInvestigating facts, planning, preparing and conducting depositionsPreparing and arguing motionsConducting hearings and mediationsPreparing witnesses and corporate representativesBriefing at trial and appellate courtsThinking analyticallyWhat You Need to Bring
Actively licensed and in good standing with the State of GeorgiaCritical thinking and research skillsStrong writing, analytical, and communications skills with superior attention to detail4 - 6 years’ experience in defense litigation; solid insurance defense experience with professional liability and/or coverage litigation experience a plusAbility to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlinesMust be a self-starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities and understand the importance of deadlinesClient-focused mentalityTake initiative and welcome challengesAbility to work flexibly and independently within a strong teamAbility to review and interpret financial records is a plusWhat You Will Receive
