Job Description:As the Lead Web Full Stack Engineer, you'll report to our Head of Engineering, Mehul Mittal, and spearhead the technical vision and strategy for the Las Vegas engineering organization. Your role involves shaping the technical direction for our engineering org, supporting the growth of our core business, and venturing into new exciting domains.
6+ years of professional work experience in Full Stack Web Development with some experience in mentoring engineering teams to foster their career growth and technical skills, whether as a Tech Lead (TL), Software Architect, or hands-on Engineering Manager.
4+ years of professional work experience in React development environment (Javascript / Typescript).
Some exposure to backend development with Ruby on Rails or Node.js.
Some exposure to cloud technologies (AWS or GCP or Azure) or Kubernetes (k8s) to manage backend services.
Bonus nice-to-have: SQL, NoSQL, React Native or native mobile development (android / ios), Istio, Terraform, Java, Go.
Able to work in-office 5 days a week in Las Vegas HQ (relocation assistance available for brand new Vegas HQ). Alternatively, we have a San Mateo (California) headcount for candidates who are locals to the San Francisco Bay Area region.
Experience in the Gaming Industry (ideally). Alternatively, experience with Unity and a passion for building services for games.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical field of study, or equivalent industry experience.
Total Comp: 160K - 450K depending on final level & location.
