Developer - Oracle

Successful candidates will work within the Information Technology Department performing Data Modeling, Physical Database Design and Development in SQL, PL/SQL Programming, Performance Tuning, Testing and Deployment of applications in Oracle 19c. The candidates will be key members of an interdisciplinary team supporting the company’s enterprise software development initiatives working with business stakeholders to understand real world business requirements and to design and develop related enterprise level solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Create Tables, Views, Indexes and Sequences

Develop PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in Oracle 19c

Performance Tuning including tuning/optimizing SQL, PL/SQL code

Develop routines in Oracle using SQL*Loader, third party vendor APIs to load/integrate data between systems

Mentoring and training others in Oracle Development

Preparation of development estimates and design documents

Support and maintenance of existing solutions

Qualifications:

Extensive Experience in designing data models in Oracle 19c

Proven Development Experience in SQL and PL/SQL Programming in Oracle 19c in a Unix Environment

Experience with Oracle Performance Tuning

Experience working with development tools like TOAD

Experience working with Oracle Spatial will be a plus

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
