Scheduled Shift: 10:00 AM- 7:00PM Philippine TimeThe Jr Python/Django Developer is responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using the Python programming language and Django framework. This role requires a basic understanding of Python and Django, web development principles, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.Write clean, scalable, and efficient Python code.Participate in code reviews and adhere to best coding practices.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Python, Django, and web development.Requirements
Must Haves:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience in Python development.Strong problem-solving skills.Understanding of relational databases and SQL.Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Nice to Have:Experience with other Python frameworks (e.g., Flask).Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.Basic understanding of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.Skills and Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.About Chromedia:Chromedia is a custom software development company based in Denver, Colorado, and Cebu Business Park in Cebu City.
