$60+/hr (rate negotiable dependent upon experience)Clearance Required:
Active TS/SCIHOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Operate and sustain the on-going daily operational use of a VMware infrastructure including updating, testing and deploying the vSphere and vCenter product releases.Manage and administer physical and virtual servers, primarily Windows and Linux servers.Support and management of server virtualization, server provisioning, physical server maintenance, security compliance and daily operations.Manage VMware vSphere, with emphasis on automation, and enterprise storage and backup system administration.Maintain server lifecycle - provisioning, maintenance, and decommissioning of the hardware.Maintain the virtualized server environment via configuration, implementation, management and support activities.Monitor the virtual server infrastructure environment’s health status, service performance, and utilization.Implement and maintain continuous compliance to information security policies and technical standards.Maintain the security baseline compliance via configuration, implementation, and remediation activities.Apply regular security patches and software updates.Troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems.Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.Provide installation and operational support of voice and data communications hardware and software systems.Perform configuration of operating system and security patches for host and distributed systems.Review customer requirements and make recommendations for changes to existing technical architecture.Comply with prescribed customer, industry and agency standards.Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all devices.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education:
Bachelors Degree with 12 years of experience or Master’s with 10 years of experience.Required Skillset:
Ability to provide in-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems.Be able to provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
Security Clearance Level:
TS/SCI.Required Certification(s):
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification required prior to support on contract.IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.Computing Env: MSCA 2016, Microsoft Azure Administrator or equivalent (Must obtain the full AZ104 Microsoft Azure Administrator within 180 days from start date).
