We are in search of a Facilities Coordinator III for our Los Angeles area-based facilities. The Facilities team is chartered with evaluating customer requirements and effectively planning the space and supporting any ongoing change in the current industrial and office spaces. This position will support the Space Systems Development (SSD) business unit. SSD develops next-generation concepts and systems to advance our future of living and working in space sustainably.As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will share responsibilities for maintaining all facilities and equipment, including major systems (fire life safety, electrical, HVAC, cranes, compressors, backflows, mobile equipment, fleet vehicles, PIT, janitorial, pest control, landscaping, power backup systems, plumbing and compressed air) and other critical equipment.Responsibilities:Support the continued use and improvement of the CMMS preventive maintenance program (Maximo).Perform maintenance and/or repairs of facilities and equipment in-house or serve as the focal point for contracted efforts, as necessary.Act as the general contractor on major facilities projects, performing functions such as soliciting and evaluating bids, reviewing work efforts, and managing to schedule.Coordinate with project leads on mobilization and demobilization of equipment with outside suppliers for the rental or purchase of equipment as needed.Provide general technical and mechanical support on an as-needed basis.Qualifications:A minimum of 3-7 years of relevant practical experience in industrial facilities, industrial project management, and/or construction management.Strong background and use of CMMS system.Familiarity with industrial and office infrastructure.Thorough understanding of OSHA 10/30 general safety standards.Strong subcontractor management skills.Technical acumen and manufacturing expertise with a flexible and creative attitude.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint programs.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.U.S. citizenship, U.S. permanent residency (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Compensation Range for CA applicants:
