Independent Dispute Resolution Specialists
to perform collection activities on NSA Negotiations. To succeed in this role, you must possess in-depth knowledge of medical insurance policies. The ideal candidate must also be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as they will be communicating with various insurance companies. This position requires an individual that can multi-task, problem solve, and manage time effectively.Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.Job Requirements/Qualifications1 YEAR OF MEDICAL INSURANCE COLLECTION EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED).Medical Insurance Collection: 1 year (Required)Insurance Negotiation: 2 years (Required)Medical Follow up: 1 year (Required)Excellent organization, time management, self-starting, analytical, and detailedInsurance Negotiation experience; knowledge of insurance plans providers- BCBS, UHC, Aetna/Cigna or self-funded/commercial providers requiredKnowledge of Electronic Medical Records, Collections, and Hospital Billing Experience (Required)Knowledge of EOB'S, HIPAA, ICD-10 codes, and CPT codes.Investigates and responds to inquiries from payorsResearch error & makes necessary corrections for clean claim production and submissionActively follow-up and negotiate on all assigned payers and facilitiesFollow up on posting errorsReview Insurance EOB and initiate appeals, negotiations, Center of Medicare Service Complaints as necessaryResolves insurance requests, inquiries, concerns, in an expedient and respectful mannerScheduleHybrid position, partly remote and partly in office8 hour shiftMonday to FridayBenefitsHealth insurance401(k)Dental insuranceVision insurance401(k) matchingLife insurancePaid time off (PTO)
