Signals Intelligence Subject Matter Expert
to support a newly awarded contract with the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Support team located in
No. Charleston, SC .This program’s support to NIWC LANT will include: Research and Development, Test and Evaluation, Prototype Fielding Kit Development, Engineering Documentation Development, Software Engineering, Integration, Training and Sustainment of the following systems Communication Emitter Sensing and Attacking System (CESAS), Tactical SIGINT Collection System (TSCS), and Marine Air Ground Task Force Electronic Warfare Ground Family of Systems (MEGFoS).Provide Technical Support on a wide variety of current and planned SIGINT hardware, software, and USMC Tactical SIGINT Concepts of Operation (CONOPS).Responsible for SME support to the supported SIS equipment, and will provide internal, external, and SIS communications support.Provide SME operators with extensive SIGINT and worldwide operations knowledge, and will provide direct support to NIWC Atlantic during R&D, ad-hoc and developmental testing events, operational employment techniques, and to support NIWC Atlantic’s USMC SIGINT programs.Provide technical guidance to NIWC Atlantic personnel to support the program objectives of CESAS, TSCS, MEGFoS, or any other SIGINT program as required to support NIWC Atlantic or MARCORSYSCOM Program Manager Intelligence Systems (PMIS).QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters degree and twelve (12) years of experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.Technical Training in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or USMC Signals Intelligence Systems.Fourteen (14) years of hands-on experience with supporting signals intelligence operations, to include three (3) of the following five(5) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Data Analysis, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or military experience with Distributed Common Ground System or Signals Intelligence systems.Clearance Requirement:Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.
