Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Developer with experience in Java, Spring boot microservices, and AWS, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Coding, unit testing. Assist in application design.Code review.Stay up to date with technology advancement and ensure our product technology stack is optimized for strategic growth.Design and develop core extensions to an innovative web application framework.Passionate about development and eager to learn from other high-level developers.Collaborate and share ideas in a strong product setting.Communicate, encourage, and empower all levels of staff.Partner with multiple engineering teams and multi-functional collaborators.Adhere to Delivery Framework and SDLC standard processes.Strong analytical, problem-solving, quick learning, and issue resolution skills.Good verbal and written communication and social skills.Coordinate with senior members and BU team to discuss status updates.Understand criticality of tasks and highlight risks.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.6+ years of relevant experience.Strong understanding of Java (Latest version), Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.Proficiency in MySQL and SQL for database management.Expertise in JavaScript for front-end development.Experience with AWS for application deployment and management.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus.Familiarity with agile development methodologies is desirable.Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Benefits:
