www.mtsi-va.com .Responsibilities:As a Senior Systems Engineer supporting this customer, you will be responsible for providing program, systems engineering, and acquisition support to the government team lead.Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:Providing program, systems engineering, and acquisition support to the government team lead.Collecting, completing, organizing, and interpreting technical data relating to weapons system acquisition projects.Engaging with programs to assess performance-to-plan and technical risks.Tracking program/project status and schedules.Performing analysis of project status and generating high-quality technical reports and presentations.Communicating with Government team counterparts.Qualifications:Required:Knowledge of DoD systems engineering requirements, acquisition policies, and Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Systems (PPBS).BS in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, or physics or equivalent experience.7 years of business/management/development/integration experience with ships, aircraft, weapons, and/or operations.SATCOM integration background.Desired:Knowledge and capability in planning, management, budgeting, coordinating technical requirements, and contract requirements.3 years of command and control (C2) experience.Previous experience or support for the NRO.Clearance Requirements:TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for SCI/SAP.
