The Coordinator of the Policy and Community Engagement Team will be responsible for administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing databases, and processing contract requests and invoices primarily for the Community Engagement team. This position will also be responsible for coordinating projects that support outreach projects and efforts including, but not limited to, activist coaching, activism events, our scholarship program, and research needed for activism efforts.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (*ESSENTIAL DUTIES):

Provide logistical support for Ambassador events, Youth Engagement Alliance meetings and quarterly events, Coordinator Camp, Moment Of Action, and other in-person engagement events as needed.*Provide support for Community Engagement team projects and efforts as needed (i.e. Impact Scholarship).*Manage CRM reporting for outreach programs including assisting in drafting activism communications.Monitor youth engagement speaker and training requests from partners and support the preparation of activists to engage with partners.Support research and communications needed in statewide outreach to benefit the recruitment of new activists and working with youth serving partners.*Liaise with Finance, Legal and activists to provide financial and contract support and manage payment processes.*Assist in recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of ambassadors and other high-level activists.*Assist in support of sending resources and other items to program participants.*Provide administrative support in meetings, events and conferences including taking notes, scheduling meetings and events, and other responsibilities needed.*Provide assistance in policy analysis projects as assigned.Manage activism merch inventory and materials.*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience in program coordination, project management, or administrative support, preferably in a nonprofit, advocacy, or community engagement setting.Experience working with activists, youth engagement programs, or community outreach initiatives is highly desirable.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and engaging communications for diverse audiences.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including youth, activists, community partners, and organizational staff.A proactive and flexible approach with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed.This position is based in Washington, D.C. with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and two telework days.COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

The salary range for this role is starting at $55,000-$58,000 on a national basis. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, relevant work experience, skillset, internal equity, location, and certifications, consistent with applicable law.
