Name of Employer:The Options Clearing CorporationJob Title :Associate Principal, Software EngineeringLocation:9111 Cypress Waters Blvd, Suite 400, Dallas, Texas 75019Duties:Perform deployment of Clearing, Risk and Data Platform applications into the ORT environment. Support the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating, and lead DevOps automation and best practices using Jenkins, Git, Python and Java/JavaScript. Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services-from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement using Harness. Use Jenkins to orchestrate builds as well as link to Sonar, Maven, and Artifactory/JFrog to build out the CI/CD pipeline. Responsible for the operations support, maintenance or monitoring of IT security policies, standards, and best practices using Splunk. Collaborate with operations/enablement teams to deliver infrastructure and applications to start testing. Collaborate with production controls teams on monitoring, failover, and logging. Provide guidance to systems engineering, Dev/Ops professionals for building highly performant environment. Implement infrastructure failover scenarios. Perform deployment of applications in VM based as well as container-based deployments.
