Lyra Technology Group is looking for a Sales Executive to join the team at one of our operating companies, VirtualArmour. The Sales Executive will be responsible for accelerating sustainable client growth.

VirtualArmour, founded in 2001, has 20+ years of serving as a trusted advisor, fulfilling the needs of businesses, enterprises, and organizations globally. From hardware configuration and deployment to ongoing managed security services, VirtualArmour’s experience spans 12 industries with deep expertise in Financial Services, Healthcare, Transportation / Logistics, and Manufacturing.

Your work as the Sales Executive includes several components:

Actively source new client leads, including via personal/professional networks, relationship building with strategic vendors, and conference/event participation.

Lead sales process activities, including prospective client assessments, proposal creation, contract creation, and closing. Work closely with Sales Engineers, Client Strategic Advisors (Account Managers), Leadership Team members, and other teammates in executing the sales process.

As requested by Client Strategic Advisors, take the lead on client renewals and contract expansions.

Work with the Marketing Specialist and the rest of the Commercial Team to continually improve lead generation and marketing strategy and execution.

Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales process, including tools and systems used by the Commercial Team.

Our ideal Sales Executive has the following qualifications:

Technical Understanding – Proficient in network and cyber security concepts and solutions, including managed firewall, SIEM/XDR, EDR, and vulnerability management.

EQ – Skilled at building relationships, understanding client needs/perspectives, and responding to client needs/perspectives in a way that builds trust and confidence.

Collaborative – Works in close partnership with Client Strategic Advisors, Sales Engineers, Lead Engineers, and others as “one team” in order to deliver exceptional experiences for clients.

Adaptable and Focused on Continuous Improvement – Actively and consistently seeks ways to improve the company and their own personal performance and can readily adapt as circumstances and opportunities change.

Drives to Results – Gets energy from getting things done, is accountable for personal performance, and consistently delivers tangible value.

Creates Healthy Culture – Actively participates in building a culture of belonging, fun, and high-impact achievement.

Minimum 2 years working in B2B sales or client service role, ideally with a technology focus.

Available to travel, as needed, to source and close client relationships.

Based in Denver, Colorado, and able to work from the VirtualArmour office 3 days per week, when not traveling.
