Essential Job Responsibilities Include:

Serve as Product Owner in assigned Agile teams using Scrum or similar frameworks.

Drive business value through a prioritized product backlog based on the product roadmap, ensuring it is value based, transparent and clearly communicated.

Manage and update roadmaps for the given products and align to strategic goals defined by leadership.

Support product leaders with cross product dependencies and display them on the roadmaps.

Mentor Product Owner(s) and Business Analysts for the product's success as necessary.

Own team backlog and implementation, partners with product manager on vision and program backlog.

Drives iteration goals and iteration content via prioritized stories.

Establishes story acceptance criteria, accepts stories.

Supports product manager with driving PI objectives and releases content via prioritized features and enablers.

Support product manager in establishing feature acceptance criteria.

Translate customer needs into effective features and functions, while outlining clear acceptance criteria, priority, and value for development teams.

Serve as the voice-of-customer and continuously advocate for the user experience, with a deep understanding of the customer needs, how they think and operate.

Ensures close collaboration with the solution and development teams.

Contribute to the work of the Product Leader as they define a product differentiation strategy and roadmap.

Build and manage stakeholder relationships to influence and drive change.

Create a deep understanding of the business domain, business processes and constraints in which the product plays.

Track and communicate progress throughout the development lifecycle, while managing dependencies and risks.

Work with a cross-functional team in planning product releases.

Track and coordinate the defined needs for multiple stakeholders across assigned product(s).

Track and communicate stakeholder and development team expectations of the product(s).

Closely monitor the execution of product development - planning, execution, release, transition to Delivery/Ops and reporting with senior product owners.

Follow the expectations around the vision for the development team for highest value delivery, communicate with senior product owners and pivot when things change.

Decompose documented high level business requirements into features and user stories (detailed level).

Participate in planning and understand key stakeholders needs across teams to successfully deliver.

Use effective Agile processes (i.e., Scrum and Agile), understand, coordinate, and track feature backlogs while ensuring successful product releases based on company priorities.

Collaborate with stakeholders and development team to support product discovery and drive product execution and releases.

Provide scope and priority clarification in the backlog refinement and sprint planning meetings.

Write stories and ultimately accept or reject stories as done when complete – complies and follows the definition of done (DoD) standard for the team.

Ability to participate in story mapping and/or product discovery workshops with stakeholders and development teams for backlog generation.

Collaborate with the development team to create and refine user stories.

Accept or reject work from the development team, ensuring acceptance criteria and definition of done are met before acceptance.

Support preparation and presentation of demonstrations to stakeholders.

Ensure the backlog is visible, prioritized, maintained, and reflects reality.

Support the Scrum Master in their roles and responsibilities.

Coordinate with the Scrum Master in sprint execution and metrics.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills / Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Knowledge of the Healthcare industry within the PBM space is required.

Experience with BI or data visualization solutions is strongly preferred.

Experience with the Qlik software is preferred.

5+ Years of Experience as Product Owner is preferred.

5+ Years of experience as Business Analyst, Software Development or Product Management.

Experience with Agile Development Methodologies.

Accustomed to working in a collaborative team environment including both technical and non-technical participants.

Must possess strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Driven self-starter who is a creative and results oriented; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret verbal and written requests and directions.

Must have the ability to produce detailed written documentation.

Ability to think strategically, as well as thinking from operational, implementation and detail-oriented perspectives.

Excellent facilitator who is experienced in prioritization and negotiation.

Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.

Product Owner certification (or higher) with Scrum Alliance, Scaled Agile, Scrum Inc., ICAgile, or any other major Agile training association specific to the Product Owner role.

Compensation and Benefits:

Based on relevant market data and other factors, the anticipated hiring range for this role is $111,200 - $132,000 annually. Final compensation rates will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity considerations. This role is also short-term incentive eligible. Incentive amounts will vary by individual and business goals.
