Position Summary:The manager will lead part of the Sam's Club eCommerce end-to-end test development team. This team is responsible for the automation that validates our critical member journeys. These journeys span multiple engineering teams and product domains and are critical in our ability to provide a frictionless member experience.

What you'll do:Create a testing strategy and work with the team to develop and execute tests according to product launches.Pursue testing modernization & automation through best-of-breed products, methods, equipment, and standards.Supervise a team of 8-10 testers responsible for platforms spanning mobile, desktop, retail, and backend business systems.Inform and manage key stakeholders, ensuring their goals are met and we deliver a solid member experience.

What you'll bring:At least 5 years of experience in testing technologies and processes.This individual must be a good engineer, capable of programming and debugging challenging technical problems.Good communication skills, with the ability to discuss complex technical problems with feature teams, test developers, and leadership stakeholders.Servant leader who leads by example, creates a positive work environment, challenges each team member, and takes pride in helping advance the career of each team member.

If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area.7 years' experience in software engineering or related area.2 years' supervisory experience.

If none are listed, there are no preferred qualifications.Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area.Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
