Job DescriptionPrimary Function of Position

As a IT Solutions Architect, Advanced Planning, you will be accountable for driving the design, development, and integration of Production Planning solutions and associated applications.

Essential Job Duties

Provide leadership in functional design, implementation, and help of the Production Planning applications.

Perform deep data analysis to translate complex business information to actionable system activities; recommend best practices; and present associated technical process components.

Operate as a credible IT thought principal for Supply Chain Planning business functions.

Work with key business stakeholders to evaluate requirements and assess the impact of use cases, to ensure the solution will produce desired business outcomes.

Investigate, research and evaluate new applications and/or technologies and application integrations that will improve business productivity.

Identify gaps between current and future state of business processes and help prioritize opportunities to improve processes through the usage of Business capability matrix (BCM).

Identify and participate in prioritization of business capabilities and act as a springboard for building mature and scalable processes.

Ensure that solutions designed by analysts are scalable and in sync with business needs.

Coach other team members with design and thought leadership to achieve organizational goals.

Interact on a day-to-day basis with other analysts, business leadership, SMEs, and IT team members to help business operations and drive change management.

Facilitate change management and transition to future state working with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience implementing Production Planning solutions (SAP PP/DS) in a medical device or high-tech manufacturing industry is required.

Minimum 12+ years of implementing Production Planning and other related planning solutions is required.

In-depth experience in SAP – Production Planning and Detail Scheduling capabilities - interactive production planning, Detailed scheduling, Pegging, Production Planning table, Planning board, constraint-based planning, and multilevel scheduling and sequencing is required.

In-depth knowledge of business processes in the areas of Demand/Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Distribution planning, and Service planning are required.

Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes (e.g., Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management) is desired.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience is required.

Experience in medical device manufacturing or life sciences industry is preferred.

Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Exceptional social skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of team members at all levels of the organization.

This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week.

Required Education

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

Base Salary Range Region 1:

$167,700 USD - $241,300 USDBase Salary Range Region 2:
