Come join our team where each team member has the opportunity to drive impact for the organization and contribute to the work we do.We are looking for a .NET Core / Cloud Developer to support the design and development of a new reporting application to manage the performance and funding that offers professional grade consulting services to small US-based manufacturers. The candidate will be a member of a 10–12-member team building cloud applications. The team will develop the application in Blazor a clean slate, using an older legacy application as a guide. The application is hosted in AWS and there will be the opportunity for cloud services configuration as well as .NET development. Experience working in a team to deliver a high-quality application with a good user interface and a full DevSecOps view of the development lifecycle will be important to delivering success.We are a fast-paced organization that values our people and always strives for excellence. Creating strong UI design and front end application building of cloud applicationsBuilding a public website owned by the United States government to assist small US-based manufacturersTranslating functional requirements into technical ones and prototyping out solutionsWorking with a team of developers to build a new web application from the ground upAttending occasional engineering sessions at Easy Dynamics offices in McLean Virginia and occasional meetings at our client's campus in Gaithersburg.Engaging stakeholders and providing appropriate guidance through the design thinking processDesigning and architecting services, components and databases of .NET Core application using Entity Framework CoreDevelop back end components (models, controllers and repositories) for .NET Core applicationsDevelop unit and feature tests for .NET Core Components that leverage Entity Framework and SQL ServerDeveloping in cloud native environments including the configuration of cloud services and CI/CD pipelinesLeading and participating in code reviews to provide feedback for proposed solutionsParticipating in data taxonomy design and engineering methods of cleaning up outdated databases.Qualifications:
5+ years experience as a developerBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Writing automated unit and feature tests using modern frameworks including conducting root-cause Analysis for outages and production issuesExperience with developing using IDEs such as Visual Studio or VS CodeAbility to work with Git source control and understand SDLC best practicesStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience developing .NET applications, ASP.NET applications, .NET Core applicationsExperience creating technical designs based on functional requirementsDeveloping .NET applications with Blazor pages and SQL Server backendsExperience with developing and deploying applications using C++Experience developing CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or equivalentExperience with deploying .NET applications to AWSStrong understanding of REST API and LINQ semanticsSalary Range:
