TriTech Enterprise Systems is seeking

Business Process Consultants (Seniors)

to support a Maryland State client. These consultants will develop business requirements and business processes re-engineering methodologies. They will solve application and process-related problems by creating detailed process and system design specifications and work with other areas across the business units to support a total solution approach. The role requires effective communication of business requirements for reports and applications development, facilitating collaboration within and across business units and IT functions, and resolving problems to improve business units’ technical environments.

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field. An MBA or MPA is preferred.At least eight (8) years of experience in business process re-engineering.An understanding of the Business Analyst Book of Knowledge (BABOK).Business Analyst CBAP (The IIBA.org) Certification or PMI BA Certification or Scrum Certification or other industry equivalent certification. The equivalent certification may be acceptable provided the Master Contractor demonstrates that they are functionally equivalent to the preferred certification.

Required Skills:

At least five (5) years of experience in reengineering large scale business processes.At least five (5) years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle, Requirement Lifecycle, and Requirement Management to include the following:Requirements elicitation and definitionRequirements planning and managementGap analysisRequirement documentationRequirement verification and validationConducting feasibility studiesPreparing business casesSolution assessment and validation.Prior experience and expertise in at least four of the following types of systems:Asset Management SystemBudget SystemDocument Management SystemFinancial SystemInfrastructure SupportMaintenance ManagementManagement ReportingProcurement SystemsProject/Program/Portfolio Management SystemsBusiness Process ImprovementPrior experience creating use cases for System Design (e.g., system personalization/customization) support.Prior experience leading and supporting efforts where SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies were employed.Solid understanding of current and emerging IT products, services, processes, and methodologies along with a continuing understanding of business functions and processes.Excellent contract management, coordination, and organizational skills.Familiar with JIRA or other requirement management applications.
