For more information, visit affiniuscapital.com.Job Description:The Treasury Vice President has responsibility for and oversight of various activities and training relating to the daily cash management and treasury operations for Affinius Capital. Primary responsibilities include the administration of cash transactions, opening, maintenance and oversight of bank accounts, cash positioning and analysis, fraud awareness and the reporting of daily cash transactions to Fund Administrator and other departments.

Essential Duties:

Oversee all Treasury functions and relative risks, including Administration of the Treasury Management System and online bank portals to include reporting, bank account and user setup and vendor/investor payment templates.

Conduct special studies as assigned by management i.e., cost/benefit studies, innovations in cash management and other complex and/or sensitive studies. Performs other minor or occasional duties as required by internal or external parties.

Conduct ongoing analyses of dollar-efficiency of property-level cash control systems, determine and implement required revisions; analyze disbursement trends on controlled-disbursement accounts and implement required revisions to ensure efficiency. Make recommendations to management based on the various analyses and make structural changes to accounts.

Direct, supervise and develop professional and technical staff. Design, develop and maintain adequate training programs as required for completion of tasks and individual growth. Provide back up support to team, as needed.

Review and evaluate financial standings of banks across the nation for the purpose of establishing and maintaining banking relationships in support of property management/development activity. Negotiate optimal banking terms and services. Maintains bank letter of credit and line of credit relationship by providing timely support for letter of credit requirements and loan draw monitoring.

Direct daily bank account management for corporate and partnership entities of the Company, and all property level and investment accounts to assure adequate daily account balances to offset account expenses and optimize short-term investment return. Coordinate cash availability with cash requirements (property closings, etc), direct the daily transfer of cash between accounts (cash or investment) to maintain target account balances, and reconcile all cash balances.

Manage bank account opening process to include Know Your Client “KYC” compliance and periodic bank review requirements.

Work closely with Capital Markets and all bank relationship contacts for strategic planning related to ongoing and new bank relationships.

Manage and review daily activity, forecasts, and balances for assigned bank accounts to include working with bank to resolve issues, reporting cash shortages and responding to information requests.

Manage the accurate reporting of bank transactions.

Maintain responsibility for all foreign currency transactions and FX agreements, negotiating the best terms and managing contract compliance.

Conduct ongoing analysis and evaluation of monthly/quarterly account analyses provided by the banks to restructure and adjust target balances.

Work closely with Corporate Finance to produce capital requirements forecast to use in monthly management meetings for cash requirements and commitments coordination.

Manage tenant letters of credit to include maintaining the master letters of credit schedule and help facilitate actions needed for amendments and returns.

Monitor loan payment activity; maintain loan payment schedule and forecasts for assigned accounts.

Process wire transfers and ACH transfers to include managing high volume investor distributions and daily time sensitive wires for acquisitions, loan closings and capital funding.

Manage EFT and check payments for approximately 300+ Company managed property and fund level accounts.

Manage tax payments to various state and federal taxing authorities.

Recommend and implement process and procedure updates and improvements.

Provide Yardi Treasury functions training to third-party partners.

Maintain all Treasury Procedures and Controls. Conduct audits, internal controls, and any system application testing as needed or requested.

Perform other essential duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

7+ years relevant work experience, preferably in cash management/treasury .

Experience with Kyriba or similar treasury management platform preferred.

ACH/Wire Transfer and heavy Bank Account Reconciliation.

Highly proficient in Excel.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to meet strict daily deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

Must be willing to work onsite in San Antonio full-time.

Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
