Job Overview:
Under general direction of the Vice President of Information Technology Services (ITS), oversees and participates in research, delivery and support of business system applications, airside system applications, and parking system applications. Ensures that work performed addresses goals and performance objectives and complies with Airport Board policies and procedures. Supervises and participates in the development and implementation of the new and revised Information Technology Strategic Plan. Assists in policy and procedures development and in establishing and attaining goals and objectives for the department. Work involves extensive contact and coordination with Airport Board staff, vendors, contractors, and outside agencies. Assists and represents the Vice President of Information Technology Services as required.
What you will be doing:
Assists the Vice President of ITS in planning and organizing activities of the Information Technology Services Department, including scheduling, and assigning work to meet completion dates and estimated resource needs.
Plans, monitors, and supervises the activities of subordinates in the areas of business system applications, airside system applications, and parking system applications.
Plans, organizes, and manages the development, operation, and maintenance of systems to meet the Board’s information technology strategic plan.
Provides advice and guidance to departments in the development, acquisition, and maintenance of specialized systems.
Develops and implements training programs to ensure that staff remain current in the latest technology and maintain a high competence level in areas of responsibility.
Provides advice and guidance to staff.
Reviews staff correspondence on sensitive and critical issues.
Participates in budget, staff, and resource planning; researches, evaluates, and recommends systems and equipment to meet section needs.
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business or public administration, or related field.
Seven (7) years of progressively responsible professional experience in Information Systems.
Five (5) years of direct supervisory experience.
Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
Possession of a valid class C driver's license.

Airside Systems including Common Use Terminal Equipment, Ramp Management Systems, Digital Communication Platforms, Baggage Handling Systems and Automated Aircraft Docking Systems.
Parking Systems including Parking Revenue Control Systems, Parking Guidance Systems, Parking Inventory Systems and Vault Cash Systems.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.
